So what is @github’s copilots “Mini Raptor” model and why should devs care?

Plot twist: it’s a fine tuned Microsoft model on open AI’s gpt-5 meaning this is the stealth version of gpt-5-codex-mini

This also means that it’s good at specific dev tasks based on the alpha specs.

Cats out of the bag! I’m heading to Microsoft as a Senior Solution Engineer on the Cloud & AI team focusing on DevTools!

I’ll be sitting in between @microsoft and @github working with developers, writing code, and working with tech execs with some of Microsoft’s largest customers in 🇨🇦.

My home base will be @microsoftvan ✨🎉🙊

I’m incredibly excited for this role and it’s an area that I genuinely love.

I like to leave on a high note! A bitter sweet 🥲moment that I’ll be resigning as Head of Engineering at @YieldGuild (@YGG_Play)
