It was all smiles yesterday as 120 young people through @ActionAidZim Dignified Lives & Decent Livelihoods for Young people project, supported by @ActionAidDK, graduated with vocational skills in baking, catering, horticulture, poultry&dressmaking at Tariro Youth Centre in Hopley

For a community that has carried more than its fair share of hardship — not by chance, but as the consequence of deep, structural inequality — the graduation felt like a turning point.

Twenty young people in Hopley picked up a needle and thread this month — and with it, something much harder to put down: a sense of what's possible!
