Last week, I interviewed a developer -
- 5 years experience
- All 5 years in one company where he started after college
- Technically good, answered most intermediate questions & fumbled on some advanced ones
- Got excellent hikes every year BUT never got any appreciation whether internally or externally
- Working on some really good projects
- I told him we can't match even his existing salary. He said - It does not matter, I will join.
- I asked him, why do you want to quit?
- His answer - 'I just need someone to appreciate me when I do good work'.
Sometimes, all it takes as a leader is a 'Thank you', a pat on the back, an appreciation email, a quick chat message to keep up the good work or a linkedin post showcasing a team member.
After all, we're all humans.

@Sawankumar92@banasawadips@CPBlr@BlrCityPolice@DcpEastBcp@ACP_BANASWADI Wonderful Job??????????????? in the Video I can see there are no street Lights no markings on the road or lane division traffic signals .. i could go on but the point I wanna make is that its laughable that Indian public does not even know what all they should be demanding.
@DragonEyesBeth@FT Strategic response would be to make a trade deal between these two massive economies. As Donald Trumps can not be controlled thats for sure.
