A man once lived in a giant fish is 100% true, and that’s why it is called the working of miracles. A serpent spoke is figurative; there wasn’t a literal serpent speaking. It was used to represent Satan, so in the actual sense, Satan spoke. A donkey could talk is also a working of a miracle. The donkey made its usual sound, but God made the communication understandable to Balaam.

Lot’s wife turning into a pillar of salt was figurative. What actually happened was that the command to look back wasn’t that she literally turned her neck and looked behind her. She went back toward Sodom and Gomorrah and got caught in the destruction, which involved fire and brimstone. Remember, it was raining fire and brimstone, and there was sulfur, so she got caught in the destruction. That was what was referred to as her looking back and turning into salt.

Yes, Jesus walked on water literally, and that is why it was an act of a miracle. Yes, Jesus also literally turned water into wine, which was also called a miracle. And yes, his mother got pregnant without a sperm; that is why the virgin birth is also a miracle. She shall bring forth a child by the power of the Holy Ghost, not out of the blues. So, God made it happen.

🚨 THE TITHE QUESTION EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD ASK

Dr. Abel Damina’s teaching on tithing challenges a popular Christian practice: Is tithing a command for the New Testament believer, or was it part of the Old Covenant given to Israel?

Under the Law, Israel was commanded to give tithes. But after Christ, the emphasis of giving in the New Testament is not “give 10% or you are cursed.” Instead, believers are taught to give willingly, cheerfully, and according to what they have purposed in their hearts.

📖 2 Corinthians 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give…”

So the question isn't whether Christians should give. We should.

The deeper question is:

Are Christians under a New Testament obligation to pay 10% of their income as tithe or are we giving from grace, love, and understanding?

And if Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, should the fear of financial curses still be used to motivate believers to give?

🔥 Let's discuss this honestly from Scripture not tradition.

QUESTIONS:

1. Is tithing a New Testament command for the believer?
2. Where did Jesus or the apostles command the Church to pay 10%?
3. Can a Christian give 5%, 10%, 20% or more without being under condemnation?
4. Should pastors teach tithing through grace or through fear of curses?

What some of you call "gospel song" is not gospel. If it doesn't have the facts of the gospel. That is, the death, burial, resurrection, ascension and the outpouring of his spirit on the church, it is not gospel. It could be praise, gyration and what have you, but not gospel.
