And yes, we are the caretakers – we have always been the caretakers. By this I mean simply that philosophical reflection on futures studies isn't something external to the field; something to be imported from outside. It is something futures researchers themselves must engage in.

It seems that I do not understand what *analytic* philosophy is.

Here it's "whatever obscure argument made against realism".

I am a realist. We have a lot of knowledge, in narratives, about THE past itself.
