@aerithsclouds Oh, how I want Myrna back... Barret's trial was one of the most heartbreaking moments for me. He doesn't deserve all the pain that has befallen him.
Here’s my interview with GamesRadar+.
In FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, player choices will shape the experience, but the story ultimately leads to one ending. I hope you’ll check it out.

@chairwoman_H Maybe it'll happen because Cloud realizes that this isn't the true Promised Land, or because of Aerith's intervention, or for some other reason.
@chairwoman_H where it no longer matters who "lives" or who "dies."
Also, while I do believe that Cloud will eventually join Sephiroth (maybe during his mental breakdown at the Northern Crater), since I think it was heavily foreshadowed, I also think that Sephiroth's plan will ultimately fail.
FF7 Revelation Director Hamaguchi says the logo background showing Cloud, Aerith, and Sephiroth is indeed an homage to the original FF7's game CD disc prints showing the three as well.
@sugarfreecube It's like Geralt playing Gwent non-stop instead of searching for Ciri, for example.
What actually portrays Cloud's state of mind are the story cutscenes like his Cosmo Canyon line "I remember Aerith a lot" or the ending, where he says "I think I can meet her there".
Wonder how these ideas can coexist in CT minds:
1. Aerith needs to die because it has the greatest emotional impact and is tied to the central theme of loss.
2. Aerith annoys Cloud, he just plays alongs when has to, he never really misses her after her death (he's snowboarding).
Only in the FFVII fandom will fans say that they hope the main heroine stays dead😑
Nomura once explained it perfectly. People were not supposed to accept her death.
@sugarfreecube Does that mean Cloud doesn't care about the fate of the planet? Of course not. That's actually a perfect example of another "game specific element that should be seen as outside of the main story". It's just a fanservice minigame.
@midgardeners27 Know that I would never think of you as an annoyance. I love your posts and would totally miss you if you left the fandom (I hope that never happens). I don't know what you're going through, but know that you have friends here and if you ever want to talk I'm here anytime.
