In an anti-trust matter, an Information against 34 Opposite Parties was filed before the Hon'ble CCI on 23.01.2012 (Case No. 06 of 2012). The CCI passed an order under Section 26(1) of the Act on 07.02.2012 directing the DG to investigate. The final order was passed only on 29.06.2026—14 years and 4 months later. Why, @CCI_India and @MCA21India, why?

This raises serious questions regarding the existence and purpose of the CCI.
Justice delayed is injustice in itself. Whatever the final verdict may be, such prolonged delays are simply unacceptable and defeat the purpose of filing the Information in CCI.

@VPIndia Paying floral tributes is symbolic. But what tangible steps have you taken to ensure the next generation knows Thiyagi Vanchinathan’s sacrifice and legacy? Patriotism is not preserved through photo worship alone. It is preserved when our heroes become part of the nation's collective memory.
@svembu The @CCI_India is in hibernation, its suo motu powers seem to exist merely for showcase purposes and are exercised only on a selective basis, and the Competition Act should be amended to address "Denial of Access" by so-called new entrants like Anthropic. But our Honourable Prime Minister and his crew seem to have other things to do, such as encouraging divisive politics across the nation to retain power, rather than pursuing such regulatory reforms.
@warikoo@warikoo I don't think saying "yes" is the expensive part. The key is value creation. An advisory role can fail because the advisor doesn't contribute well, or because founders bring on advisors without a clear need or expectations. It cuts both ways.
@PMOIndia@narendramodi@PMOIndia What kind of support is your government really providing for such startups? If outcomes are not visible to people, your marketing spin will soon come to an end.
Hon’ble Prime Minister, your government seems to blur the line between intellectual value creation and service delivery. The focus appears more on opening the 140 crore Indian market to global supply chains than on leveraging the intellectual strength of 140 crore Indians.
Many who voted for you expect India to be recognised for its innovation and knowledge, not just as a market. You will realise this only when you lose in the election.
One day, @BJP4India will face the real verdict of schemes like Make in India at the ballot box. Today, everything may look colourful and successful, but the true impact will be judged by the people over time. The Tamil Nadu 2026 election results are a clear example. If the right actions are not taken, that day may arrive sooner than expected.
Shri @PiyushGoyal Ji, the FTA seems to have opened India’s markets more for foreign companies than for Indian businesses. In reality, Indian companies are not getting the same level of market access abroad that foreign companies are getting in India through the FTAs you have signed. Please do not overshowcase it. Otherwise, provide the data.
Also, 1.4 billion Indians did not vote unanimously for the @BJP4India, so please don’t portray it that way.
@svembu@svembu Please do not take this seriously. Advice is only for the common man, not for the @BJP4India government and @narendramodi 🤷♂️
Rules for citizens, exceptions for rulers. 🔥

@skarthikdotin@skarthikdotin Not everyone has the generosity or courage to provide opportunities to newcomers, even as many naturally comply with the Competition Act and Antitrust laws to maintain a level playing field across every field, not just cinema.
@SupriyaShrinate Announcing schemes like #StartupIndia is easy. Building an ecosystem that actually supports new founders is the hard part, and that’s where we’re failing. These programs still don’t provide real support in enabling market access or making it easier for startups to reach customers. I’ve faced this gap firsthand. Without real backing, innovation won’t scale.
@svembu Year -5 makes sense for new entrants like us, but for established players with strong market power, Year -5 is too long, so I’m not convinced. In my humble opinion, you may need to revisit the strategy, as in accessing the market, this could lead to velocity loss for companies like @Zoho.
@rohanpaul_ai “10-person billion-dollar companies are coming soon” sounds nice, but who is actually buying enough from a 10-person team to justify that valuation?
AI platforms can write code. But can someone easily build Windows, Android, iOS, or PostgreSQL and get the world to depend on it?
Code is getting cheap. Trust, scale, and distribution are not. @sama
@karankendre The only resistance companies like @AnthropicAI and @OpenAI can’t avoid is the question of sustainability. If generative AI becomes a sustainable high-level “language” for building software, it would represent a new paradigm, and no regulation will be able to halt its adoption.
