📣 Workshop on Ovarian Tissue Vitrification | Feb 2026
We’re excited to announce our upcoming hands-on workshop on ovarian tissue vitrification taking place in February 2026.
Last year, we welcomed ~10 participants from Europe, India, the Middle East, and Canada 🍁. Attendees trained on the complete workflow:
🚑 tissue transport
🧫 tissue preparation
❄️ vitrification & rapid warming
🔬 follicle viability assessment using fluorescent microscopy
The practical format gave participants a clear, step-by-step understanding of each stage of the process. We’re looking forward to building on that experience and welcoming an even broader international audience next year.
If you’re interested in fertility preservation techniques or advanced lab training, we’d love to have you join us!

🔥New open access publication alert!🔥
"Towards a universal rapid warming protocol for cryopreserved human ovarian tissue"
✅ What we found:
Rapid warming not only matched conventional thawing, but in some aspects outperformed it.

This is my fear - one major US strength is slipping rapidly and with decline of strong academic research freedom and support goes discovery, innovation, economic prosperity...

Now it's time for our host Stine Gry Kristensen to present her work in ovarian tissue cryopreservation! An enthusiastic round of applause for the mother of #EOW2025 👏👏👏
✨ The Fertility Preservation Session of the #EOW2025 provides exceptionally incredible insights into recent an ongoing research.
I felt honoured being part of the session with my presentation.
