Yes, it's a human captioner! A lot of people think it is automatic speech recognition. I used to caption CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ESPN, QVC, and more. I still do some broadcast, but I do college classes, meetings, webinars, conferences, etc.

@Asignia Not fainting when switching positions is a big deal. I have had that happen to me twice.

This is my machine and the steno keyboard. The keys are not labeled on the machine because that would slow us down. I'm certified to write 225 wpm, but I often write bursts of 300 wpm. I use this to caption.
