I propose we stop using the term "Deuterocanonical Books" and go with "Christian Old Testament" instead.
Because, by and large, the Christians used the Greek (LXX) Old Testament from the beginning.
@owenthcarey It has helped me conquer sins I struggled with my whole life (up until becoming Catholic) and now the further I get the further it seems I have to go.
It's like...
@Dvmcmr@LeighBrown@therealDeFlock Would you be okay with someone who wants to target you being able to easily track everywhere you go through an unsecured and unregulated system?
Why not have your name and Driver's License as your profile picture?

@LisaDuffyAuthor The process of seeking a declaration of canonical nullity is not fast - for good reason - but it is worthwhile. It's also not the right choice for everyone.
I know several civilly divorced who are awesome Catholics - one is even a regular catechist (and good at it).
@theblessedsalt@LMSChairman I wish I could agree, but we're not just talking about Liturgy.
In order for another Rite to exist, it would have to be in full communion with the Church - which would include not saying that attending other Rites is a sin, and accepting all the Councils.
Fatherhood and old school D&D have a lot in common.
You spend years trying to keep reckless young people alive while they completely ignore your advice.
Sometimes they listen.
Usually after the dragon.

@thesolafeed Church - or can at minimum acknowledge which one the majority of the world sees as the true Catholic Church
But which is the true Lutheran church? ELCA? ALCA? World Federation? Missouri-Synod? Wisconsin?
Would an Orthodox or Baptist or Methodist immediately know?
@thesolafeed The only remedy left is to shout "The other guy clearly doesn't understand the Bible! It's obvious to anyone who is a *real* Christian!"
Which is further confounded by those denominations without confessions or historical authorities. Everyone knows which Church is the Catholic
@eligaultney@LarsAnders1620@realTimaV@G_Tello1 Companies mishandle PII all the time, info they often do not actually need - and they fail to secure it.
When through their negligence, they practically hand it over to criminals, they do not face this level of response
@LarsAnders1620@realTimaV@G_Tello1 When our information is compromised, we get an $8 legal settlement and (another) year of "free credit monitoring" with the repeated option to upgrade
When an elite is compromised, someone's door gets kicked in
Companies who leak our info should face the same or comparable fate
@Catholingo Purgatory
My respect for C.S. Lewis made me take another look. As a Protestant all I knew came from Dante and a few paintings, so I thought it was a mini-Hell.
Alright, the original deal was 20k before the end of June and I’d shave my head on a live stream. There’s not much time left in the month, so I’m going to say that if we can get it to 15k, I’ll call it close enough.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
