Lyme disease vaccines have been around for a long time, they’re still available in veterinary medicine. However, they stopped producing the vaccine for humans because of cost, it wasn’t profitable or beneficial for them to continuing do it. I would suspect, they are creating a problem, with a solution already available to restart vaccine production for humans.
