@FreeRosedark I'd be an important thinker, creator, innovator, artist, idea. I could imagine myself teaching refuges JavaScript or developing ways to provide clean drinking water to 1 billion people and more
@Bdubbs76@catturd2 Seems like there were some smaller issues during the election but nothing major. Trump even won the majority vote. Compared to 2020 I don't see much evidence for people claiming he cheated. Maybe the graph should be the other way around?
@runesqvist @dolan_goony @Thinkwert Oh now I get it. I thought it was equivalent. Thanks for sticking through! This example helped me:
Case 1
🥚0.7→2
🥚0.3→1
Case 2
🥚0.3→1
🥚0.7: X
Case 3
🥚0.3→1
🥚0.3: X
Case 4
🥚0.7→2
🥚0.7→2
So two eggs are really 25%, not 50%.
@runesqvist @dolan_goony @Thinkwert I don't think so. Let's consider 2 categories. In my model the intervals would be
[0, 0.5)
[0, 1.0) (default)
So if I place two random eggs and check if they drop, one egg has a 50% probability while the other egg always drops → 50%. In your model, it would be 1/2 • 1/2 = 25%
@runesqvist @dolan_goony @Thinkwert Now thinking about it, we also have to consider that when the prob event doesn't happen, an egg may shift to the next position and still be considered for the next try. So you could use this information as a prior I think but I am not exactly sure how 🤔
@runesqvist @dolan_goony @Thinkwert I am assuming that the weights are ordered. If the kth category doesn't trigger, so does every category before. The probability that the egg drops near the end is higher than near the beginning. Here is a visualization (using 5 categories)
[0, 0.2)
[0, 0.4)
...
[0, 1.0)
@DieGrueneFrau@janboehm Toller Faktencheck.
