@mmelynde Thanks Kari! I love how PDSB is coming up with so many initiatives leading to a deeper authentic development of learning skills like collaboration, self regulation, and organization.
@erossqueensu I love this resource! It will definitely be useful to share with students to help them understand what they should be working towards and create personal goals.
https://t.co/KcFGohzksj Found this school project created by a Durham student on how to increase self-regulation skills in early learners. Having higher grade students come up with projects such as these can also increase their learning skills!

@FaithB_QU I like the idea of having students assess themselves in French oral speaking. Having them analyze their own participation and efforts enables the creation of their own goals, which in turn should give them a greater sense of ownership over their achievements.
@FaithB_QU Very interesting! Incoming students are often dealing with pressures of adapting to class content which may be completely foreign to them. I like how this article emphasizes the importance of intake assessments to help students transition into the classroom.
@mmelynde Thanks for this article! As FSL teacher, it can often feel like we aren't able to access the proper support and resources our diverse learners need, especially when it comes to learning a second language and the possible anxieties that come with that.
