@FOUN100MEG Self-directed learning is so great! I love seeing students take initiative in their own journeys. This helps foster independence, responsibility and organization. Thanks for sharing Megan!
@erossqueensu Awesome stuff Emma! I find student friendly language is helpful for us teachers, too!
It allows us to learn in the same way our students will be learning, ultimately setting us up to better support them in their journey. Thanks!

What a great initiative! Encouraging students to come to school by providing them with opportunities for student led learning. This allows students to take charge of their education - fostering their initiative and responsibility! Awesome work, St. Teresa!

Here is an interesting article about a new technology and collaborative learning centre in the PDSB. This type of learning fosters learning skills growth - specifically in organization, collaboration, self regulation and responsibility. Great read!

Really great read about how French Immersion programs are not offered the same resources for equal assessment/evaluation. It also touches on the inequities for support of students with special needs in a French classroom vs an English one. Take a look!
@MmeSavary Thanks for sharing! I think the early reading screener is a great tool for students and teachers alike. It offers us a starting point for our students and allows us to easily progress monitor. I'm excited to see how these screeners help our students develop early literacy skills.
@FOUN100MEG Interesting read, Megan! Thanks for sharing. I would love to see more of an emphasis on culminating tasks rather than exams for high school students. This would give them more of a choice on how to show their learning, rather than a high-stress exam. What are your thoughts?

Great read about how standardized tests are failing our ELL students in Ontario. Will be interesting to see if these tests are ever scrapped in the name of UDL for proper assessment of all learners!
