@erossqueensu Wow! These questions are fantastic for engaging students in self-reflection and skill development! I love how they can be easily adapted into French, making them accessible for both Core and Immersion students. A great resource for fostering self-awareness in any classroom! 😊

@NourKhalek1 I find this transition on the skills-based approach insightful. Shifting from content to skills in assessments gives students a clearer path to proficiency and deeper understanding. I found this great resource to help support this approach https://t.co/JxaBtzbsVK

@FOUN100MEG I totally agree! Self-reg needs to be explicitly taught at school. Also, parents can play a crucial role in supporting this learning at home. Here's a great resource for parents to help children struggling with transitions: https://t.co/nYenvCLoXj

@mmelynde This represents a positive shift. Educators should design lessons that connect with real-world experiences, fostering lifelong skills. However, I wonder how they will assess this and keep students engaged as opposed to create more barriers?

[Mme Savary @MmeSavary]

@FOUN100MEG Love this! Summative evaluations provide a more accurate assessment of student understanding by promoting deep learning. students can demonstrate their knowledge in various ways, fostering critical thinking and personalized growth, rather than focusing solely on memorization.

Today we marked the Franco-Ontarian Day. We had a great discussion on the importance of speaking French and the contribution of the French communities in ON. Then we decorated a Franco-Ontarian T-shirt.
