@Xyphien@podrace_EXPLODE Larp has been used like this for years. It's actually super obvious to see how it could eventually lead to this kind of usage, so acting dumbfounded by it just says way more about you.
@RayJNorwoodIn07@ecto_fun We once beat the shit of a guy when he uncorked Champaign without saying it, it's like breaking a mirror but gives the bad luck to everyone else in the room
@Id10tzQuery Imagine there is red button (because there doesn't have to be, red is the do nothing button). You just have a choice: press the blue button, or don't press is it. The scenario remains exactly the same, the "red button" is now just replaced with "don't push the blue button"
@Viki_Therian@javisaidathing@WokeFDR I am also colourblind. I did assume the question was literal. The buttons can be purple and yellow, the buttons could not be buttons at all. That's purposefully creating a scenario that defeats the point: yeah blue works if there's unwilling/able participants
@Viki_Therian@javisaidathing@WokeFDR They didn't do nothing, they signed up for team loser, as in literally losing something (their life) if team nothing (who gains nothing) wins. Why sign up to the team with something to lose?
@chuckkirklandII@heelix2100@cinnamontoastk Instead you can push the red, because if we push red we both have a 0% chance of dying. Instead of pushing blue because they think that you think that they think that you think that they think that you think that... You'll push blue to save them (from pushing blue)
@human11037@real_122109@WokeFDR If we word the exact same idea differently: Everyone who pushes the blue button participates in "the game". Everyone who pushes the red does not. If 4 billion people do not join "the game" all participants die.
You immediately see how stupid pushing blue is
