A First for Bihar!
A Greater Flamingo juvenile was photographed for the first time at VGDS near Sultanganj, Bhagalpur, by the BRMS team. This rare sighting is a milestone for Bihar���s biodiversity, with only unconfirmed past sightings at Kanwar Lake.

As Sumer Singh Bhati of Sanwta village laments over the death of this GIB early this morning, most of the bird diverters placed on the transmission lines have fallen down, so are the birds. The transmission lines have to go underground. There is no other option.
