BubbleStocks Security Update

ISSUE RESOLVED ✅

We experienced an incident involving unauthorized access to our server infrastructure, which exposed our backend wallet keys.

The attacker stole $176.71 before we contained the incident. Through our response, we secured assets and liquidity positions with an estimated combined market value of approximately $65,000 at their respective transfer times.

We secured ownership, associated fee rights and assets;

To prevent further damage, we temporarily took the website offline and stopped backend operations while securing the affected assets.

We have since rebuilt our server infrastructure and introduced additional security measures.

One issue remains: unmigrated tokens on the original bonding curves still have fee permissions accessible through the compromised keys. We have removed these launches from our website. Removing them from the interface does not revoke those permissions or disable the underlying contracts.

Before bringing the platform back online, we took a SNAPSHOT of holders of the affected tokens and of $BUBBLE holders. These snapshots will be used for an AIRDROP to apologize for the disruption and recognize the community members who continued to support us throughout the downtime.

We take responsibility for protecting the infrastructure behind BubbleStocks. We are sorry for the disruption and the concern this incident caused.

Our protocol is young, but our community has already shown incredible strength. Thank you for your patience, trust, and support while we worked to contain the incident and prevent a larger loss.

We dodged a bullet, and we’re taking the lessons seriously.

From now on all meme/stock liquidity is locked forever, stock/USDC liquidity stays unlocked for future DeFi applications like lending, borrowing, perps etc.

We migrated all liquidity from shared stock/USDC pools into our own damn V2 pools. All launches will contribute to that now via compounding liquidity.
