Not sure why there isn’t a bigger conversation around a major driver of this difficult job market: companies are now refusing to entertain remote workforces (after laying off thousands of #remoteworkers, including people who’d relocated and are now stranded)

I’ve seen multiple folks on LinkedIn say they were ghosted after the *presentation* stage, and they’re better than me because I would’ve put the company on blast. Any other job demands professionalism, responsiveness and basic decency… recruiters (and HMs) should be no different
Here’s the thing…
… you shouldn’t need 5+ rounds of interviews to determine whether a candidate is right for your job. So if you are asking for this massive time commitment and you ghost? They dodged a bullet.
