THE PLAY: HOUSTON +7.5
We're taking the points with Houston in a Big 12 showdown. The Cougars don't need to win outright to cash this ticket — they just need to keep it within one touchdown.
The key to this play is Houston's ability to control the tempo, avoid costly turnovers, and prevent Texas Tech from creating explosive plays. If the Cougars can sustain drives and keep the Red Raiders from building an early lead, that +7.5 becomes valuable. WHY HOUSTON CAN KEEP IT CLOSE:
