The U.S. has killed more than 200 people in over 60 strikes on boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, claiming without evidence that the boats were engaged in narcotrafficking. Amanda Klasing (@AMKlasing) of @amnestyusa says these are extrajudicial killings that constitute murder. “U.S. taxpayers should be outraged, absolutely outraged, that their money is going to murder as a policy,” says Klasing.
Under pressure, Guatemala secretly agreed to Joint US Strikes inside its borders against drug groups. More countries will be pressed soon

Demi Palecek, an active duty National Guardsmen and member of @vetsaboutface, urges those to "honor the fallen" on Memorial Day by rejecting endless cycles of war and saying "No" to Trump's anti-immigrant agenda.

Known as "Bloody Sunagawa" (流血の砂川), the 1955–1957 protests against a U.S. airbase expansion were the most intense and violent of their kind in Japan.
They also represent a rare victory for the people in a direct conflict with the post-war state.
Pointed out by a locked friend: This Axios accusation of Cuba planning a drone attack on Guantanamo Bay, or on American vessels, or on Florida, all of those are literally from Operation Northwoods, the false-flag attack plans prepared by the CIA in 1962.
