Thanks. Lender says I can’t even pay 10pc off without triggering the early repayment charge so I’m not sure why they say I can increase my DD instead 🤷‍♀️

Mortgage Twitter, my lender says if I pay a chunk off my mortgage I’ll incur an Early Redemption Fee BUT it says I can increase my monthly repayments without any fees and this will reduce my debt and interest charges. What’s the difference?

Hello Landlord Twitter, it’s been a while. Am I correct in thinking that if a tenant has an emergency ie blocked/non-flushing loo and there’s only 1 loo but the LL says it will take a few days to sort ie they don’t want to pay plumber’s w/e rates, tenant can sort and bill them?

@LondonMoneyFS @cathyLMFS I would never take out a warranty but I don’t think any manufacturers offer one-off repairs any more so if you want them to send an engineer you have to sign up (usually to D&G) for 12 months. I’m gonna avoid brands that use them from now on

It costs more for the parts to repair my 2.5 yo #Hotpoint oven than buy a new one.
It’s got a 5yr parts warranty BUT only if I pay for a Hotpoint engineer’s visit (which they outsource to D&G) and, yep, this costs more than a new oven.
It’s a waste but I’m gonna buy a new oven

A long-term tenant has asked me to provide her with a character reference for a new job. Odd, but sweet. I’m going to say she’s fab, obviously, I don’t want a jobless tenant😂 #landlord
