This is Vela. She doesn’t know why more people aren’t in this swimming pool. Loves having it to herself though. 13/10

I didn’t even use a pic with dogs in it (a rarity). Barbie knows me too well

🌅 | #TheLawyerHorizon Dentons’ global growth is typically a friendly affair, with a strategic preference for forming local alliances. Its foray into Dublin, by contrast, reveals that Dentons possesses an aggressive streak, and it’s not afraid to use it https://t.co/GcrFn3E50h

I wrote a thing.

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

An excellent opening line from @GeorgeWParker and @xtophercook in todays FT. If we didn’t laugh, we would cry (although realistically we are doing both)

[Lucy Worsley @Lucy_Worsley]

In 2009, a lady came to a conference we had at Hampton Court, about the life of Henry VIII. She sat quietly at the back making notes. She was reputed to be a novelist. I did not know then that a goddess was walking among us.

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

I get caught by this frequently and react in the same way

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

Thanks @shockproofbeats for writing such an incredibly hilarious, poignant, clever memoir that I adored reading on holiday. As another Irish kid who lost a parent at an all-too-young age, you gave me credibility in the grief I still feel for him, and many MANY giggles

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

Yep.

[Louis Staples @LouisStaples]

my dog scrolling through all the pics on my camera roll

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

@WillWhite365 @bakermckenzie @MichaelEvans77 I remember that all too well. How time flies. Hope to see you both soon next time in London

[Victoria @Vic_Halliday]

I’ll miss this place, the people even more. See you later @bakermckenzie. Catch you on the flippity flip
