The JPS office in Black River was left without a roof and severely damaged as Hurricane Melissa roared ashore in St Elizabeth late Tuesday morning.

According to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, the powerful storm made landfall in the vicinity of Parottee shortly after 11:00 a.m., unleashing destructive winds, torrential rain, and flooding across several parishes, including Manchester, Westmoreland, and St James.

Can’t see my Gas Meter on my smart meter so I can’t see how much is on my Gas, Can’t use the app because it has always displayed £0 even though I top up. But @BritishGas fix for this is to turn my smart meter off for 7 days and that will fix it…. Seriously a joke.
