i will NEVER be the type of an0r3xic who sabotages other ppl’s food by adding more butter or more oil or more sugar that’s just evil
if i’m cooking for you i will try to make your food either exactly following your instructions or as healthy as possible!
for the fellow malnourished ones, please be aware that if you've gone a long time w/o food you should try to eat slowly when you do eat again ESPECIALLY if youre having an ensure drink. Those are hella nutritional and you can get dizzy from too much too quickly, your body is going to put a lot of energy into digesting the food bc it needs the nutrients but you that means you might feel unwell for a little bit. Make sure to remember that your body is going to priotize getting nutrients in over a lot of other functions so take the time to pace yourself, get the proper nutrients in, and rest a little so your body can get the energy it needs
sometimes I think ab naoise and how he was high enough to think i wanted to listen to On the Floor by JLo when really I fell and couldnt get up on my own
I love my new rocks but I always tap the bowl of my bong onto them when im smoking and I accidentally tapped the metal piece on the toe of my boot 🙃 and broke a lil piece off the bowl. its fine but im so fucking annoyed bc i love this bowl sm
okay but genuinely i went to inpatient w a girl who told me she didnt really believe a lot of this stuff was problematic, she just wanted an excuse to eat less without anyone being able to argue with her and I remember feeling so dead inside it still haunts me ngl
the meat/dairy industry problematic , nestle is problematic, most chocolate is problematic, coke-a-cola problematic, every food brand is problematic
well , what now ? Is eating in itself problematic atp?
I bring up indigenous people bc "white veganism" is very prevalent and factory farming still effects indigenous peoples (especially those who live off reserve) and bc of how commonly some vegans compare animal abuse to historical trauma (off the top of my head, the people who compare animal abuse to the holocaust, especially when it comes to Jewish people who are not vegan as it is very deliberately a choice to pick the wording of holocaust when talking to Jewish non vegans). There is a lot more connection to some vegan talking points and racism that isnt just factory farming, and factory farming is only a portion of the overall problem with the meat/animal product industry
@ViciousVeinx@pixyrot like we're mad about factory farming and the fact trillions of animals are exploited and murdered. the target demographic is not small communities who live in incredibly sustainable ways and just happen to eat animals they've caught themselves.
a quick remedy is maybe typing it out in a notes app on your phone, screenshotting it and posting that ad a reply to have more characters. and its fine I apologize if my jokes are mean spirited im trying to make light of it all even though I am genuinely uncomfortable with a lot of the generalizations. I get your sentiment but I do think you might need to take a step back and really reevaluate where some of your assumptions come from because you did generalize in a racist way and while I know you mean well those kinds of generalizations and racist ideologies are doing more harm than good. You will make others uncomfortable and feel unsafe when you do that, and on this app especially there will be a much worse response depending on the people who see your posts. I know you mean well but as an indigenous person, the way your remarks had a tendency to pull from racist ideologies and generalizations is not okay and I really do think it would be worth it for you to expand your research and also, talk to people from indigenous communities, especially those involved in farming in current day. There is a big difference between what you intake from research vs an understanding from a real conversation with the people you are talking about. I dont want you to offend anyone or make them uncomfortable, and I dont want you to lose your passion for ending animal cruelty, I think its a good thing to care so much about animals but there does need to be some amount of looking at where the things you say come from/how they come off. A lot of it is normalized and can go unnoticed, especially if you mean well, but part of putting an end to the animal abuse and the racism that indigenous people experience is going to be the uncomfortable points of asking yourself what you are saying really means and being able to separate the normalized racism from the good intent of helping animals. And again im sorry for my jokes being rude or mean I can take them down I ahain was very uncomfortable with some of what you said and had poked fun at it more so for my own sake of being able to continue talking without feeling like im just humoring a racist person. I know you're not racist but I do think itll be good to take a moment and see why some of what you said were racist, and be able to seperate those things from the genuinely well meaning points you made.
Hey so if I posted this like 20min before you interacted with me at all and I didnt know you even existed until after this post...it was not a post ab you 😭 PLEASE use some common sense here why did you think this even applied to you
If youre upset that you got called out for being a bigot, thats the point. If someone brings it up a lot, thats because normal people find bigotry upsetting and want it to stop.
You are not supposed to feel comfortable and accepted if you are a bigot, THAT IS THE POINT.
being half native and talking to vegan extremists on twt really just confirmed to me how deeply rooted the racism is for yall. you can be so well intended but so confidently say hella racist shit and not even know... im ngl I would clutch my purse if I walked past yall
@ my irls who hyped me up for today being the day I tried to quit nicotine I need yall to know I tried but Im gonna need a smoke or two after this and touch grass where others will not.
for further explanation if youre a new account or dont use your account often it will recommend you posts and it will likely be from the last accounts you interacted with, especially if those accounts are a little larger in following than the average (which is why mine probably showed up, as well as my account being verified influenced that too). Idk how long you had thr account or how often you use it but after some consistent use it should stop showing up, you can usually tell of it's a suggested post if there's a purple symbol somewhere on it in your inbox. Just try not to spam either because too much/too quickly of posting, replies, dms, etc might mark you as a spam/bot account. So interact to get rid of the suggested puts but be careful not to spam, twitter sometimes locks or suspends accounts that they flag as spam. You can also see the time a post was made, which in this case wouldve helped to understand the post was not about you as i posted it before we interacted. So just to keep that in mind, so there isnt confusion later on (this app is weird since the telsa man got ahold of it)
