They've now told my m-i-l to open a new bank account in her own name, show them power of attorney for her dad & cash the cheque.
Rather than just send a cheque in her name for the amount due.
Over an hour on the phone again for that.
Got no help from Scottish Power' 'Help' account, so SP will continue to call my mother in law, ask to speak to her dead father & send out cheques made out to him despite being informed of his passing in May, & being told 4 times how distressing these continued communications are.

Wife's Papa died 8th May, few hundred £ credit on account. You've now sent FOUR refund cheques in his name, upsetting my MIL more each time after long phone wait to complain.

I paid £250 for the skip, which still has a load to go in it, only for @ao to stick their rubbish in it.
Bad enough that the driver done it, but there was obviously no effort made by the company to get it shifted.
FAO @ao Disgraceful that your driver dumped a massive box of packaging from his van in my skip, in my driveway.
Woeful customer service that despite my calling 3 times from lunchtime & being assured they'd come back for it, I got home at 8 to find nobody bothered their arse.
