Cause prayer invites warfare. It brings you into spiritual battles against enemies you may not even know exist. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers…” Why would the enemy concern himself with someone who has no resistance? If you’re not praying, you’re spiritually dormant, existing in the state the enemy would prefer you to remain in. After all, you can’t engage in warfare you have yet to recognise.

HOWEVER, this is also real life, and sometimes, it’s simply your turn to experience misfortune. Not everything that goes wrong is a spiritual attack. Sometimes, life is just happening to you.
