Respectfully, Ma'am (@AnujaJaiswalTOI), as a senior journalist, we request you to do a thorough fact-check and stand with the truth rather than republishing NBE's spin. Here is the ground reality of the FMGE crisis:

1️⃣ Fact-Check on "3rd FMGE": There is NO official notification for a third FMGE this year. No exam is happening before November 2026. Stating this as a fact is spreading misinformation that misleads candidates and the public.

2️⃣ Nemo Judex in Causa Sua (No one can be a judge in their own cause): NBE's "Expert Committee" is packed with NBE/NMC insiders.

Who appointed this committee?
Why was there no FMG community representation?
Where is the report and why is it hidden? If the accused body appoints its own people to investigate its own mistakes, they will obviously declare themselves clean. This is a clear conflict of interest.
3️⃣ The ₹6,195 Fee vs. Reality (CCTV Challenge): Candidates paid ₹6,195 (excl. GST) for basic exam facilities. Yet, due to extreme summer heat and poor cooling at centers, students faced cognitive impairment and fainted. If NBE claims facilities were perfect, we challenge them to make the CCTV footage of all exam centers public! Let the nation see the reality.

4️⃣ The Repeater Paradox: NBE claims "repeaters" are the reason for low pass rates. But logically, a repeater has revised the syllabus multiple times—their scores should increase, not decrease! If repeaters' scores are dropping, it proves NBE is running an unstable, volatile exam (moving goalposts), not that students are incompetent.

5️⃣ No "Alien Technology" Abroad (MCI NOC): We went abroad only after obtaining official NOCs and Eligibility Certificates signed by the MCI. Are foreign universities teaching "alien technology" or medicine 100% different from India? Human anatomy, physiology, and pathology are the same globally. Local Indian health policies and diseases constitute barely 8-10% of the syllabus, which we study diligently after returning.

6️⃣ The 8-Mark Fainted Candidate & Notice Cover-up (Attached Screenshots): Look at the attached official notices:

In Dec 2024 (Notice A), NBE openly declared 'one question' was wrong.
In June 2026 (Notice B), they hid the number using the vague term 'question(s)'. Why this cover-up? Because when our delegation confronted NBE: "Sir, a candidate who fainted at login and attempted 0 questions got 8 marks, how?" NBE was forced to admit: "We gave 8 marks to everyone because 8 questions were technically wrong." When asked why this wasn't documented in the notice, NBE's excuse was: "It was a blunder, we forgot to document it!" Can a national board call hiding 8 wrong questions a mere 'blunder' to escape transparency?
If FMGs can clear highly standardized exams like AMC (Australia) and USMLE (USA), why do they fail FMGE? Because AMC/USMLE are transparent scientific tests, while FMGE is an un-audited lottery with secret keys.

NBEMS MUST RESPOND — FMGE JUNE 2026

Today, representatives of AIMSA-FMSW and AFA are sitting outside the NBEMS office, seeking a clear and prompt response regarding the concerns raised over the FMGE June 2026 examination.

During the earlier meeting, NBEMS officials assured the delegates that a response would be provided within 24 hours. It has now been 48 hours, yet there is still no official response. Representatives are present at the office, but no official is currently willing to engage or provide an update.

Our concerns are clear:

• Poor and inadequate examination-centre facilities
• No prior information regarding the introduction of lengthy video-based questions
• Time-consuming video-based questions affecting the overall examination experience
• Sudden changes in the examination pattern
• Demand for transparency and accountability
• A fair review and appropriate compensation for affected FMGE June 2026 candidates

The protest at Jantar Mantar on August 3 was conducted to raise these genuine concerns. We have cooperated with the process and given NBEMS sufficient time to examine the matter.

Now, silence is not an acceptable response.

We respectfully demand that NBEMS officials immediately meet the representatives and provide a clear, written and transparent response.

FMGs are asking for neither favour nor exemption,we are asking for fairness, accountability and a level playing field.
