@ByTheAllspark I'll keep tabs on it but I don't entirely like the path its taking. If it interests me again ill prob check it out, but no more active reading
@WarrantVanguard@PMS_Jordan I mmight remember that yeah, thats pretty damn sweet not gonna lie. I'm still glad I got my 500GB 980 as a boot drive ages ago or else I'd be on spinning rust for.. probably a good long while with these new prices.
@PinkySolzy Yeah my friends build has a Roswell atm and is having issues. Though I don't think it's his only issue (adrenaline app disappeared from his desktop ๐ญ) it's probably among one of the issues causing his random shutdowns.
I remember watching pc building guides 5 or 6 years ago and RAM was THE cheapest part, by far. Everyone was like "yeah you can get away with 16 but you might as well get 32 if you can fit them because it's like 20 bucks for a pair of these things" now we live in hell.
@kunaiposting This is a real use case. My tower is old-ish and will gladly swallow 250-300W (maybe more?) without tuning. While it's not really loud, the lower the TDP the quieter you can make a system soo...
@PurpleColonelSP "oh you've got a nice, old i5 gaming tower with a 750ti or better? Honestly go slap an SSD in it, some RAM because (right now) it's cheap and matters and may give your system a few more years of life!" Maaaaaaaaan..
@PurpleColonelSP RAM and SSD upgrades were considered cheap, effective drop in upgrades :/. I was gonna upgrade to 64GBs a bit before last black Friday, then all this bullshit hit.
@SonDanbot Same because I got the legacy version from a lot recently, he's fun to handle but I think 86 would at least... Tab in properly unlike my legacy version :/.
@lesbiancima There's a few in my collection that I refuse to transform (86 Jazz, Volkswagen Bumblebee) but there's also very few I can't easily flip back and forth. DOTM Roadbuster was pretty ~decent to transform but the chest peg thing came loose while trying to unpeg it ;-;.
@WormsicleTV There might be but I dont mind personally. I get what they're trying to do. It'd be neat to put the reload bar back to where it was but, yea.
