Same for the Switch, the magnetic joy cons and the screen on the 2 make the old one feel like some garbage prototype. But I can already imagine which parts of the Switch 2 will feel 'cheap' by the time the next one rolls around even though they really don't right now.

The most true thing I've ever seen somebody say about Nintendo hardware is that it feels super premium out of the box and then the next generation makes it feel like a toy. Like the 3DS was this beautiful futuristic masterpiece and now it feels like cheap plastic crap

✅ Better performance (Switch 2 only)

One of the worst tech trends in the world is hardware with software that it forces me to install. Why does my mouse need an update. Why does my controller need an update. Hell, why does my VR headset need to go through somebody else's shitty program BEFORE steam?

@PacboySlim Switch 1 PAL games put the logos in the middle, NA ones put them at the top. But Switch 2 PAL games put them at the top and NA ones put them in the middle. Why would they ever do that
