Ultra-processed foods don’t just raise risk—they compound it.
Top 20% UPF eaters (>70% calories) live on a curve that shifts 7–11 years earlier.
Cheaper calories today = a bigger bill later: lost healthy years + higher healthcare costs.

Experts once told parents: keep peanuts away from babies.
That advice likely created 100,000+ preventable peanut allergies in the U.S.
And it’s not the only time “consensus” was built on biased data.
Vitamins for smokers.
Pulse oximeters.
Coffee.
Ambien.

Does your favorite supplement brand test for carcinogens and toxins? I did a deep dive and found none of the top protein powders I analyzed even test for PFAS/forever chemicals.
Turns out if they don't clearly say otherwise, we're likely consuming harmful substances without even knowing it. So to choose which protein powder to buy for myself, I created a detailed table evaluating which brands test for common contaminants like glyphosates, PFAS, heavy metals, pesticides, and more.
My top pick? Momentous, because they transparently test for an extensive range of toxins and don’t add flavorings. I receive no financial incentive to say that, btw—I just want to raise awareness so more brands move in the direction of Wicked Protein and Momentous.
Identifying harmful substances that make us sick and helping harmed consumers fight for justice is my life's mission, and why I built Justpoint. I hope this information is useful to others looking to make informed decisions about their health. Let's add pressure so other brands do the same.
"Justpoint raises $95M to tackle the toxic exposure epidemic with AI [...] This means safer products, faster regulatory responses, and a legal system that proactively protects consumers."
@JoshConstine, thanks! 🙏
Now THIS is a superhero origin story.
@VictorBornstein's uncle got sick when a strip mine polluted his water, so Victor built @Justpoint. It IDs harmful substances, then equips lawyers to sue those responsible and get justice for victims.
He's like the legal tech Batman.
