I've seriously been restraining myself from posting about the trending Benin road gridlock that has now lasted close to one week! That's one week of pain, sorrow, suffering, losses, and quantum disillusionment.

Who didn't see this coming? I wonder how many people still remember my video about "WHITE ELEPHANT PROJECTS" where i lamented the self-destructive and inimical decision to leave such crucial roads as the Benin road in its dilapidated state, and chase the pipe dream of a coastal road that'll take about 10-15 years to complete.

It doesn't take rocket science at all. Everyone reading or watching this right now knows this is the right thing to do. Apparently, President Tinubu and his minions live entirely in an alternate planet.

Just look at what Nigerians are subjected to in real time, in a nation where billions of dollars have been budgeted for white elephant coastal roads and all manner of frivolities. Only a fraction of that money could have taken care of these existing deathtraps called roads. But as it appears, this regime probably considers it a crime to make life easy for Nigerians.
