Athlete A, as quoted below, is truly upsetting but also immensely necessary. The gymnastics world needs to be held accountable for not only the actions of Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics at that time but also for the actions of all the coaches who treat gymnasts as "lesser than".
@the98percentpod We were told they were "encouraged to leave" but it was revealed the uni actually never told them why. The uni also didn't note down or keep any evidence of wrongdoing & when we contacted police at a later date they had nothing to say.
@WILeotards The part where she describes that she thought she was a hate-able person really resonates & I think a lot of us believed that. I'm still working towards believing anything else.
FINALLY vindication for what we have been trying to explain for the last two years. When people have asked
“but what did they actually do?”
or
“they are all snow flakes”
Read the report, read the news articles in black & white. It’s was abuse & shouldn’t have happened.
@WhittleMelissa Gentle stretches and a little movement will be good for it. If Hawke is feeling up to it, they can help you stretch your shoulders. Also get a tennis ball and lie on it for a little massage. Hope you feel better soon x
@sreneelee@Doral337@RubyHarrold Kerri Strug could never get back to that standard of gymnastics again. The *Karolyis have been accused of abuse multiple times. The expectation that someone should injure themselves for entertainment or to prove something they don't have to is messed up.
Happy 10th Birthday to my metal spine. It's been a rollercoaster & I haven't always loved you but for an improvised experiment, you've done really well. I'm finally able to say I'm proud of you.
@lionbluecasting @CastingsFind@SupportBritish Hi there! I'm a 5ft5/5ft4 actress & would love to be considered. Scotland born and I have a base in Glasgow and London.

@ScottishOpera Thanks so much. It made a really big positive impact on me and I left feeling so happy. You should be proud of your efforts to be as inclusive as possible!
Storytime! Let me tell you a tale.
I had an audition with @ScottishOpera. A real live audition, which is amazing. But what was even more amazing is that I came home absolutely raving about this audition, not because I got the job but because they were inclusive!
I enjoyed that audition more than I enjoyed any other audition I have ever been to because I had no extra stress to worry about and I knew I wasn't being judged for not hearing things. I can't tell you all how much that meant to me. Thank you Scottish Opera. I hope I'll be back!
There was a moment with a woman who said to me "let me know if you need any help". Which I brushed off as I don't want to be a bother. And she said "No, really. It is absolutely okay to ask." And it really was, I was met with smiles and enthusiasm whenever I asked anything.
