Today, we introduce Great Scots in Isolation, which is a series of short 1-2 minute films by Scottish Gallery artists from Scotland, UK and internationally. We are delighted to have this project launched by Victoria… https://t.co/mbT2OKZV7z
These designs were then interpreted into tapestry on an epic scale. Woven in 9 sections, our Weaving Team produced this stunning tapestry over a 3 year period with the final panel being installed in the hall in early 2017.
Our Weaving Team began discussions with @VictoriaCrowe__ to discuss details & the design of the tapestry.
Victoria Crowe presented a series of works which illustrated the rich history of Leathersellers & told the story of leather production.

In 2014 we were approached to create a 52 m² tapestry for The Leathersellers’ Company in London. This commission was integral to the vision of architect Eric Parry.
