What a week! Last week I:
-submitted my thesis after 4 years on the @HydroScholars program @EdinburghChem
-passed my driving test!
-performed 6 shows at the #EdFringe2022 festival with @BalletEdinburgh
So grateful to everyone who helped me achieve all these milestones 💙
Teaching has been a massive part of my PhD journey, so I'm very excited to have successfully completed the Edinburgh Teaching Award at level 2, making me a fellow of the higher education academy! Four years of hard work worth it 🧪🥽🎓

A week well spent exploring northern Scotland with @HydroScholars learning all about #water, from peatland restoration to flood prevention, waste water treatment, hydro power, and lots of enjoying nature! An amazing last event for me as I come to the end my PhD, so grateful!
Fantastic visit to #flowcountry with the @HydroScholars where we learned about the importance of #peatland restoration for biodiversity and climate mitigation
Here we go!! Our scholar's field trip took off. We started our journey with the stunning Dunrobin castle. We are going to dive deeper into Scotland's history, geography and resources throughout the trip. Check our feed for more to come 🌊
For those thinking of a Chemistry PhD, remember it can lead to much more than just an academic career. The last 6 PhD students to land jobs from our group have all gone on to excellent industry positions: @SunampLtd x2, @SauleTech x2, @IntelligentGS, @MitsubishiChemi
Huge congratulations to our PhD student @VictoriaPorley on securing an excellent job with @IntelligentGS who work on vertical farming. The job will utilise her water expertise gained as a HydroNations Scholar @HydroScholars
