A large number of social media influencers and environmental supporters have jointly submitted a petition to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB), urging immediate action to address the alarming toxic foam formation in the Kelavarapalli Dam near Hosur.

The petition highlights concerns that the pollution may be caused by untreated industrial effluents and sewage entering the Thenpennai River, posing a serious threat to agriculture, livestock, aquatic life, and the health of people living in nearby villages across Hosur and Krishnagiri districts.
