@moll_tyson@GPinac81@fadule_ Inferior in what way? Then why aren’t all soccer players from Europe 6’7”? Because that isn’t what makes a footballer a footballer. That’s what Americans don’t get, lol. It has to do with finesse and touch. Just watch the USA trap the ball today, it was hard to watch
@DuBoseDefense@FrankieQuigs You misunderstand what it takes to play football, lol. Just minimizing it to running and changing direction is why Americans don’t understand why they can’t win. Touch is so much more important than just run and cut
@blanddanny1@TheProdigalManc@stoolpresidente NBA mvps aren’t American anymore. MLB, we aren’t the best country either. Neither of which compares to how many people watch football on a regular basis
@moll_tyson@GPinac81@fadule_ Messi is 5’10” and is the GOAT. You don’t have to be some giant athletic person to be a phenomenal footballer. It certainly helps but the sport is also very cerebral and it’s way less individualistic than Americans like
@stoolpresidente This take is why Americans suck at the sport. Messi is 5’10”….we act as though if LeBron played it we would all of the sudden be Brazil. It’s just not how football works
@Robert_Abel@prepsrecruit Cheap/free anywhere I’ve seen, has been absolute cluster of nonsense that doesn’t develop anyone. We have diluted house leagues so every age group can have 3/4 travel teams of kids in the age group so that we can steal peoples money
Hey USA, stop playing like pussies. You’re getting bullied all over the place and you act like you don’t care. Where’s the intensity? You’re at home, act like it
@AustinKonenski I actually enjoyed the cup race more than the NOAPS race….but getting out of Chicagoland last night was so bad it’s making me not want to go back. 90 minutes to go 3/4 of a mile while cops just stood there doing nothing
@chriswerme15@NASCAR@DaleJr@ChicagolndSpdwy Took me 90 minutes last night to go 3/4 of a mile. Leaving was an absolute disaster. The police were doing next to nothing to keep traffic flowing out of that place
@LennyMiller55@KirkHerbstreit That’s why when they get to the playoffs they all start playing small ball right? Toronto literally was bunting and moving players in the playoffs just last year and almost beat the dodgers. But you’re the epitome of baseball knowledge so you should tell us how smart you are
@LennyMiller55@KirkHerbstreit Hey if you say so, you clearly have an opinion that is way better than anyone else’s. Because your two examples, the other 1000 players all fall in line perfectly with your example. Thanks
@LennyMiller55@KirkHerbstreit You’re older than me? I coach travel baseball, lol. Creativity is t banana ball, unique batting stance, pitchers who have different throwing motions. It’s all analytics creating robots that look and feel the exact same.
@BaseballDudes48 The answer here is travel ball, where they prioritize games and one on one coaching rather than detailed programs of practices (preface this by saying not all programs for sure) but I’m seeing programs give signs to 8u teams, and they can’t field or hit. The priorities are off
@LennyMiller55@KirkHerbstreit I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. I know people always find a better way. I’m saying they took the creativity and unique styles from everyone. There are no more styles or creativity, it’s just everyone doing the same thing. It’s painful to watch
@onthegreen59@EALTurner Arsenal played that way all year and Europeans hated that style. But the previous 50 years were different and you picked the one for a nice straw man argument there
@HereticJay_@KirkHerbstreit Yeah and the ball moved a lot, and kids weren’t playing professional baseball at 12 and needing surgery in high school because parents need that 4 pitching lessons a week
@LennyMiller55@KirkHerbstreit Analysts are ruining the game by creating 7,000 of the same player. Just swing for the fences only and throw 105 for 8 pitches only. It’s awful specialized nonsense. But some metric says it’s awesome
