NEVER A DOUBT.
Amazingly, the 3x defending AFC Champions & the defining dynasty of this era wasn’t in fact dead in the water after a bad couple of games.
One day the Ravens will see the Chiefs across the field & not abjectly panic, but that day wasn’t today.
Jayson Tatum on being on one of the greatest Celtics teams ever:
“You guys are probably going to say we didn’t play anybody to get here... so we just gotta do it again next year.”

“He's 25 years old, and I believe he has been to the conference finals four times and to the NBA finals once. He’s 25. I didn't win my first one until I was 28. I think Joker won his first one at 27. I think MJ was 28 as well… I think we have a lot of expectations on JT, but he's experienced a lot of winning in his career so far. And obviously, everyone wants to see him get over the hump, but four conference finals and a finals appearance before the age of 26 is elite.”

I think Jrue Holiday’s unselfishness has had a real impact on an increasingly unselfish Celts team. In a contract year, his usage rate dropped from 25.0% to 16.6%. FGA went from 15.3 to 10.3. He’s overqualified to be a glue guy, he knows it, he’s fine with it. Just wants to win.
"This is all his fault. All of it... You're gonna tweet about folks needing to leave your son alone? You did that... Own it. It's you. It's not the media."

the scariest part about this Super Bowl?
this was supposed to be the year to knock off the Chiefs
Mahomes was most expensive cap hit in NFL at $37M
his OL was weakened
his WR1 was a rookie
they were forced to play SIX STRAIGHT GAMES at a REST DISADVANTAGE weeks 12-17, the ONLY time a team had to do that in NFL history
they had to play in Germany
they didn't get a 1st round bye
they had to play on the road in the Divisional Round as an underdog
they had to play on the road in the Conference Championship round as an underdog
they were underdogs in the Super Bowl and were losing by double digits
it was the TOUGHEST PATH to a Super Bowl based on strength of opponent faced EVER
and they STILL won the Super Bowl
