@is_glasgow I reckon it's because the website/art project seems to be dead.
The website _did_ exist, see Wayback Machine: https://t.co/zI8hevaupE
And "NADFLY" is an (old) handle of an artist on instagram: https://t.co/qzlaVNqWGB which is also linked on the deprecated website above.
@is_glasgow "NADFLY - 2003 - 2021 - was a pioneering artist studio specialising in placemaking and social engagement"
(from the "About" section of the snapshot of the website)
@is_glasgow Huh indeed, Byres Road is showing as Victoria Street on a map surveyed in 1858! I always thought it was only because it was "in vogue" to rename places to p[lease Queen Victoria, but here we go!

@JanKotek75@Fbeyeee Někdy nasadí špatnej autobus, někdy je objížďka. A někdy řidič zapomene, že řídí double decker ... třeba v Glasgow je taky proslavenej most, kterej čas od času takhle oholí autobus.
@OssianLore Didn't the easter section of the inner ring road get cancelled due to protests in the 80s too?
At least the M74 extension didn't buldose its way through the High Street ...
@maheids@newglasgowsoc Winters are still a thing you know.
"Climate is the long-term weather pattern in a region, typically averaged over 30 years."
"Weather is the state of the atmosphere, describing for example the degree to which it is hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or cloudy."
Bottom line: well connected, physically-separated infrastructure like this gives people of all ages and abilities (especially those who don't feel safe cycling currently!) the safety & confidence to travel by bike, whether rain or shine. ☀️ 🌧️

It already happened before.
Soviet tanks invaded Czechoslovakia #OnThisDay in 1968.
I was 4 years old and it was one of my earliest memories. I know the feeling; I know the #Kremlin imperial appetite.

READY, SET, SHARE!!
Last week, I told you that we'd be finally announcing what, and who we're looking for as an investor to help us take Mossgiel Organic Farm to the next level.
I asked if you could PLEASE SHARE, or tag this post to your network on LinkedIn, to help us reach new audiences and chat to peeps we otherwise would never get to meet through conventional means.
We've been dealt multiple blows trying to fundraise and build a new dairy - for 2 years we've been told that our business model is 'too unconventional', that we didn't 'fit' in the right box, we were too small, or too big for 'x', and that we just need to keep chipping away until we find the right person to invest; but we've not yet found them.
We felt crowdfunding was a natural way forward, and in March we were pledged an unbelievable amount of money from around 100 supporters - over 1/4 million pounds - but take it to the level, the platforms like Crowdcube and Seedrs told us that we need an initial investor to agree to cover around 1/3 of the entire raise - first, or it was a no-go.
Bank funding? They'd only be interested if we had the huge level of asset security that would ensure it was a near-zero-risk proposition (for them); which (let's be honest here) we're not sitting on a farm paid off generations ago, don't have a yacht in Troon harbour and we're not zero-risk...
We're punchy, unconventional, questioning, brave, mistake makers, driven, passionate and sometimes tongue in cheek - but, we're on a serious moonshot; we want to prove dairy has another option than the 'go big or get out' farmers are faced with constantly. We'll show that keeping cows and calves together is a genuinely scaleable system, and explain to the world that Mossgiel isn't 'just milk'... it's nature's original superfood which, through our unique brewing process and zero waste approach, is absolutely amazing!
We have demand in some incredible places, but inefficiency and lack of funding is holding us back - and we're not willing to drop our ethics for 'quick wins' or accept questionable outcomes.
Are you interested in who we're NOT looking for, and why you're NOT the right investor to help us take things forward? Have a swipe through till the end for some reasons.
BUT
If you think we're wrong, and you get excited about the prospect of joining our crazy team on a mission to change dairy - give us a moo, we may have some exciting documents to show you ;)

@hedgie1873@CyclingScotland (I highly recommend looking at Highway Code, Rule 160: "be aware of other road users, especially cycles and motorcycles who may be filtering through the traffic.")
https://t.co/sZUhkBbwsi
@hedgie1873@CyclingScotland What vehicle is the one that can cause more damage in these situations? A cyclist crashing into a car will mostly injure themselves (and cause superficial damage to the car, if at all) whileas a car crashing into a cyclist still means injuries mostly to the cyclist.
@PoliceScotland@CyclingUKScot Just in case you're wondering there is a big blue "turn left" sign which the driver decided to promptly ignore and turned right instead.

So @PoliceScotland, how's that dashcam portal coming along? (It's now _two_ years since it was announced thanks to campaign from @CyclingUKScot)
This driver just went the wrong way down a one way street and decided that just plodding along is _just fine_.
@partick51@GlasgowWEToday That looks very nice!
Btw, with the dimensions of those two blocks (and the reference photo) you can potentially measure other features around this tenement. It's this precise wall that I was poking around with the measuring tape: https://t.co/9dWn4ortqz
@partick51@GlasgowWEToday (45.5 inch is the one with the blue writing on the right, 52 inch is the second row one right behind the pipe and above the block with the white writing)
