From 14–16 September 2026, @NCTC_Kenya engaged stakeholders in @UGC_TheChampion to remodel the County Action Plan (CAP) on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism.

The conversations brought local realities, emerging concerns, and community perspectives into focus, creating space to rethink what is working, what needs strengthening and where the County can sharpen its prevention efforts.

The result is a CAP that speaks more directly to Uasin Gishu’s own context, priorities and people, because prevention works differently in every community.

The plan is being reshaped. The focus remains the same: a safer, more resilient Uasin Gishu.
