@Scoopin_Schooly@ThomasB317@B_Moniz Right, but the other half of the story is Giannis wanted a 3 year extension and Boston said no. Which is part of the reason he's in Miami.
@Scoopin_Schooly@ThomasB317@B_Moniz Giannis was an expiring contract. 1 yr left with a player option. Brown has three years left(including this season) and wanted a super max extension
@AlbertBreer Salary dump. I'm convinced venture capitalist owners decided before the off season Brown was getting traded. Celtics save some money and clearly aren't going to extend George. Bad trade, championship window closed if that's all they're doing
@AdamSchefter Cap space holding teams back isn't a thing. They can restructure contracts and pay players in real money via signing bonuses while extending deals out extra years. It's just a matter of whether owners want to spend real money or not.
@grantcohn Read the article and completely agree. We're going to see more contending teams keep two "starters" on the roster given the amount of injuries around the league at quarterback.
@9FootCouch@AdamSchefter He was fired in Miami because he refused to tank. He sued the NFL when the NY Giants interviewed him for the HC job even though they already told Brian Daboll he was getting the job. This was revealed because Bill Belichick accidentally congratulated the wrong Brian.
@SharpFootball I'll never understand when a defense needs to stop a two minute drill and they play the softest zone ever. Panthers d-backs gave 10 yd cushions all the way down the field.
