This gentleman used to be at a nite club called Razzmatazz, not as a DJ, not as an owner, he stood outside selling worsrolls. I took shortcuts and paid with my youth, he took the high road and transformed the lives of many. Thank you @OskidoIBelieve, young ppl this is inspiration

Chief Dakamela of Nkayi District just received a virgin wife as a gift at the Imiklomelo kaDakamela cultural festival — a tradition that reminds us how deep and alive our culture remains.
This young chief is doing extraordinary things in Nkayi. I had the privilege of sitting down with him on @ConvoWithTrevor . If you haven’t watched that episode, now is the time.

🚨 BULAWAYO SCENES 🚨
People bussed in from Rural areas are now rushing back onto buses, tired, hungry and hurried out. This is not consultation. It’s staged participation. The world must know: this process is rigged #CDF. @daddyhope@Sophie_Mokoena@MbuyiseniNdlozi@MacBelts

South Africa was fortunate to be led by Nelson Mandela after independence.
He was a nation builder who understood that unity transcends partisan politics.
Looking back, Robert Mugabe was not a nation builder. He used his power as Prime Minister to settle scores, pushing those who disagreed with him out of politics.
A nation builder like Mandela would have brought people of different political persuasions into his administration.
If he could include former Rhodesian Front members in his government, I do not understand why he could not bring in people like Ndabaningi Sithole.
He clearly brought in RF members for political expediency, not nation building. He wanted to placate Ian Smith instead of building a nation.
When white Zimbabweans became part of the citizens calling for a different political direction—away from corruption and incompetence—they became enemies.
Today, South Africa is a stable democracy with political tolerance towards competitors and opponents, which has become part of its cultural identity.
Mugabe would not even allow James Chikerema to be declared a national hero, out of political malice. Petty grudges from the liberation struggle were settled through abuse of power.
He never tolerated political dissent or ideas that differed from his own. You were either with him, or you were labelled an enemy.
Headmasters, teachers, priests, and other officials at United Methodist Church schools were expelled through violence, simply because Bishop Abel Muzorewa—a political adversary—was its bishop.
You do not build a nation like that, but that is what became of Mugabe’s Zimbabwe after independence.
And in choosing vengeance over vision, Mugabe shattered the promise of a nation that so many had fought and died for, leaving behind a broken land where liberation became the very source of oppression.
Zimbabweans must remember that before they are anything else, they are Zimbabwean.
The fight to save our country must rise above political parties and petty internal battles, because no party is worth more than the soul of a nation in ruins.
The ANC got 62.65% of the vote in 1994, while ZANU got 57.5% in 1980, but Nelson Mandela showed political maturity by ensuring that everyone had a seat at the executive table.
That is why South Africa’s ANC is the only liberation movement that has not taken its country down the ruinous path where citizens are denied their rights using state security arms.
The ANC has its own issues (e.g. corruption scandals like Nkandla), but South Africa has preserved multiparty democracy and constitutional order.
A nation is not built by those who cling to power through fear and vengeance, but by those who rise above the past to unite its people in hope, justice, and shared purpose. That is what Nelson Mandela did, and that is what Robert Mugabe failed to do!
