An ordinary Zimbabwean citizen understood that CCC was no longer the vehicle for change that the people had entrusted with their hopes. It had been hijacked and manipulated to serve interests contrary to the will of the people.
President Nelson Chamisa wrote to Mudenda calling for an end to the recalls of Members of Parliament, yet despite those concerns, the recalls continued. Those actions remain a subject of intense public debate and scrutiny. History has a way of recording every decision made by those entrusted with public office, and future generations will judge whether those decisions strengthened or weakened Zimbabweβs democratic aspirations.
