The Zimbabwe Constitutional Defenders , politicians, trade unions and churches have today launched an alliance, coming together in the last attempt to save the constitution from the illegal CAB3 amendments @BitiTendai@JamesonTimba@jngarivhume@GwisaiMunya@ProfMadhuku amongst the people behind the initiative.
These South Africans say they only care about Zambians & Tanzanians. And other Africans ? Those of us who followed Zambian Politics long enough will recall the events of 1987 at the Frontline States meeting in Mbala. As Zambians, we'll forever love each other with Zimbabweans !!
A LEGACY OF SERVICE..
Dr. Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo never sought to extend his mandate by hook or by crook. He remains a true example of selfless, principled leadership.
Despite enduring years of demonization, vilification, and mistreatment at the hands of some of his fellow comrades, he did not pursue revenge. Instead, he chose reconciliation and nation-building.
Rest well, Qhawe leMaQhawe. Your legacy continues to inspire generations.
THE COST OF ENDORSING BAD GOVERNANCE...
Since 2000, Zimbabwe has had successive contested electoral outcomes. SADC & South Africa have for years chosen to ignore the governance crisis in Zimbabwe. The governance crisis in Zimbabwe has degenerated resulting in those in Zimbabwe experiencing extreme poverty whilst millions have sought refuge in the diaspora. South Africa has had to absorb the vast majority of immigrants (legal and illegal) into country.
It is estimated that nearly 3 million Zimbabweans are living in South Africa! It was a question of time before the pressure would begin to be felt in South Africa! The crisis in Zimbabwe can no longer be ignored. The ‘reckless’ in Zimbabwe are misgoverning on a disputed mandate!
The 2023 election is a sham that SADC called out. The same unelectable leaders now seek to illegally extend the disputed and ‘stolen’ mandate by an additional infinite more years.
The immigration problem will not go away until Zimbabwe is fixed.
SADC and South Africa, particularly the African National Congress owe Zimbabwe a duty to call to order the unelectable in Zimbabwe. Help Zimbabweans to help themselves. Ending the crisis in Zimbabwe will invariably resolve the crisis of immigration that is being experienced in South Africa. Restore the rule of law and good governance in Zimbabwe by ensuring that electoral outcomes are respected, uncontested and a legitimate citizens government is restored in Zimbabwe.

@cdemlambo@MacBelts He was PDP and he was working with Biti, phulu, Welshman, Hwende and all those who wanted to fix Chamisa and take over the party using ZANU. Ncube and Biti had done it before so they knew how to get , ZANU on their side . In exchange ZANU demanded specific seats to enable CAB3

➡️ When I saw that the perennial critics, the opposition to the opposition, were banding together to start a movement, I was happy! 👍🏾
Here now was a league of powerful players that could lead a much-needed alternative revolution that had been seen to be previously lacking. 👌🏾
They would do things differently and implement all the ideas and technologies that they had been talking about all along.
I was genuinely optimistic, as someone whose main interest is a better Zimbabwe for all. To me, HOWEVER we get there is fine with me.
Whomever leads us there is good in my books – because we MUST get there.
That is the main focus. 🎯🇿🇼
We must reach the wonderful, prosperous and democratic Zimbabwe we all want and deserve…
But then … the new group got together and instead of inspiring and galvanizing the masses, as Zimbabweans expected, they haven't arranged a single rally and instead their leading spokespeople have spent their time criticizing Chamisa…
Eish. 😫
Dammit! 🙆🏾♂️
This country is cursed.
We are wholly unserious.
Why are we like this??
Why can't we just organize our things and move forward with our plans in a professional manner - with passion and FOCUS.
🗣️🗣️ "Chamisa, Chamisa, this and that..." 🤦🏾♂️
Leave the man alone!
There are many ways and paths to ascend a mountain.
Choose yours and RUN! 🏃🏾♂️👍🏾
And let him choose HIS path.
We all meet at the top of a shining new Zimbabwe.
It's not a competition, it's a struggle! 🇿🇼🇿🇼
Kuita President Mu Zimbabwe you must be 40 years and a registered voter. @Chofamba@freemanchari@daddyhope are all above 40. Why are they not forming their own party to show Chamisa how it's done? They have CDF which they claim is not a political party because they are all fake
CAB3: NOT A DONE DEAL.
Those claiming that CAB3 is a “done deal” are either deluding themselves or deliberately attempting to mislead. Deep down, they know that nothing without the citizens is ever final. In any society, nothing can be done for the citizens without the citizens. The citizens are the ultimate decision-makers; they alone have the authority to endorse, reject, or seal any deal.
As things stand, there is no done deal. In fact, there is no deal at all. Any arrangement that lacks the consent and participation of the citizens remains incomplete and illegitimate.
If there is one reality that cannot be ignored, it is this: the citizens are increasingly tired of those who oppress, disregard, and undermine their rights. The only “done deal” may well be that citizens are done with oppression and are ready to reclaim their voice, their power, and their future. #TheNew #TheCitizensMovement
