🇺🇸 Free speech in the US is in extreme danger right now. Massive government censorship enabled by KOSA and "Age Verification" is moving through Congress at a rapid pace. You urgently need to contact your representatives: https://t.co/pZOaFpXCUD

[alpha @omarsbigsister]

1) Everyone is forced to upload their govt IDs to access the internet
2) ICE is building social media scanning software
3) Trump admin is going after people who are "anti-American" and deporting them (source:@kenklippenstein)

Do we not see where this is going?!!!!!

[Preston Byrne @prestonjbyrne]

Section 230 is one of the only things currently standing in the way of foreign governments using private causes of action to censor Americans.

Repealing it would be a huge mistake.

[Joe @electionsjoe]

Read the community note. This bill would absolutely destroy the internet. Call your representative and urge them to vote against the bill.

[Age Veri fication Hater 🏳️‍⚧️♿🍉🌻 @chloetankahhui]

this is a five-alarm fire!!!

section 230 is called "the 26 words that made the internet" bc the internet would not exist today if user-made content on a platform is considered speech of the platform

repealing section 230 means every site would endlessly censor to avoid lawsuits

“Delusional take” meanwhile Roblox is facing multiple lawsuits because of how unsafe it is for the kids it was made for.

I still can't believe Bungie got away with just straight-up removing massive chunks of content in Destiny 2 that people paid for, including the entire base game, making it completely unplayable for no good reason.

Being so pro-preservation it really pisses me off.
