@burgeroise @xewlupus Sorry for mid-thread but Ive worked on that kinda effect & if you’re curious- the thing you’re looking for is gas/smoke/pyro sim. Once got the hang of it can be v productive because sim does work for you. I use houdini but looks like blender has similar:

@ticky @LuigiThirty On mac if you have a debug build of the emulator I know xcode’s metal tools can capture frame data & I think export it in a useful way
For animation, ps1 kinda predates animation data as a generalised concept so you’d just have to capture frames in sequence
