Sure, sex is great, but have you ever ended a TTRPG session and then *IMMEDIATELY* had your players start telling you how much fun they had and how good things have been? 🥲
The whole 'git gud' mentality is passable in single player video games because you have no-one to impress but yourself. But in a group scenario, social dynamics matter, and if your dynamic is 'I need to better than my team mates', you're probably going to be grating.
Imagine being drunk as hell on cheap wine on a summer day in ancient Rome watching the chariot races, then seeing a chariot eat shit on a turn, the crowd must have been insane
