@LianaOlivia @SunwingVacay Check in was chaos for us too. Delayed 1 full day for Dominican Republic. Went to airport the day after and the systems were not working. Their customer service is beyond horrible for what they have done. The “hope this helps” at the end of their response is a slap in the face.
@ericamichelle_b@SunwingVacay We are actually at the airport now and awaiting our flight at 5. I won’t believe it until we are in the air though. What a horrible experience. Hope others got away in their vaca too!
@SunwingVacay anyone on flight WG410 that was suppose to go out today at 4:50 pm to Puerto Plata and now rescheduled to July 20 at 5. What are the chances this flight goes? How do we know weather to cancel or take our chances?
@ovonizzy@SunwingVacay Exactly my question. How do we know our rescheduled flight, which has been delayed one full day already, will still go for the rescheduled day and time? That would be key info for us to decide to out right cancel. Why is common sense not being used at Sunwing?
@Eva48521512@SunwingVacay So sorry to hear your vaca has been ruined by this mess. Hopefully (but probably not) Sunwing will compensate u properly. I know it’s not what u want. It’s not what any of us want. We want to be on our vacation which we worked hard for. I hope it gets better for u and ur family!
@ashleykairu@SunwingVacay The reason is that the pilots are taking job action and calling in sick. So no pilot, no flight. They could care less how it effects people like us. All about a fight between Sunwing and their staff and we are in the middle.
@BigdBiggy @SunwingVacay Gotta love their standard response e huh. We don’t want compensation. And how do u compensate for a lost work day that we have all booked off?
@Eva48521512@SunwingVacay Don’t know if u had a reply but we tried the same thing. There is room at the resort, but no flights home. That is what we’re were told.
@jonoxremedy@SunwingVacay Ridiculous. So u make people on their already delayed vacation sit at their resort and fill out this claim. Great customer service.
