5/ @EduMinOfIndia @ugc_india @PMOIndia @dpradhanbjp There is also a funding issue from the Ministry. UGC is not receiving enough funds to disburse fellowships on time. Scholars are left waiting indefinitely. Please allocate funds timely and support research! #FundOurFuture

4/ Some universities are not approving the fellowship for the current month, leading to months of arrears that pile up, leaving scholars in a difficult situation. Immediate action is required. #FixTheDelays

3/ Another issue is the limited time frame (1st-8th of every month) for approving the fellowship. This period includes weekends and atleast one public holiday, making it harder for the process to complete on time. We request an extension to the 12th or 15th. #ExtendTheDeadline

2/ The fellowship approval process often gets delayed at the university level, as files have to pass through multiple authorities (Supervisor, HOD, Dean, Registrar, Nodal Officer). This time-consuming process affects timely approval. @ugc_india please streamline this.
