@IndiaDST announced a fellowship hike from January 1,2023,with an office memorandum in June.Other agencies followed suit, but ICAR hasn't released any memorandum yet. When asked, they cited ongoing processing. This negligence towards research scholars by @icarindia is unacceptable.
Congratulations to all post-doctoral fellows under SERB, and heartfelt thanks to the SERB agency from the Bhartiya Research Scholar Organisation. Many congratulations and sincere gratitude.

Appreciate addressing the critical issue of discrimination among Indian research scholars. Their significant contributions to scientific progress deserve support. Urgently calling on @MOMAIndia, @smritiirani, @ugc_india, and @mamidala90 to address these concerns.
Wishing you a Happy New Year from the Bhartiya Research Scholar Organisation! May this year be filled with new discoveries, academic achievements, and collaborative success. Here's to a year of growth and excellence in research

Non-NET PhD research fellows get a stipend of Rs. 8,000 a month, which has remained the same since 2006. Normally, revisions to the fellowship amount take place every 4 years.
The research scholars are also facing difficulties due to insufficient resources at their institutions, inadequate support from the supervisors, and the absence of grievance redressal committees.
I urge the Education Minister and the UGC to consider a significant hike in the stipend amount for Non-NET PhD research fellows.
: Dr. @ShashiTharoor in Lok Sabha
Neglecting non-NET research scholars today illustrates the direction in which the country's development is heading. Research scholars are taking to the streets with legitimate demands. How much longer will this continue.

Researcher from across the country are engaged in a peaceful protest, yet there is still no higher authority that acknowledges the significance of research scholars & listens to their concerns. When will a government prioritize higher education in the country

@brsoofficial strongly condemn such incidents at @IITBHU_Varanasi,there should be no place for such events in any corner of our nation. The director and vice-chancellor should take immediate action on this matter and ensure the protection of the campus

Fellowships play a crucial role in higher studies, and the lack of timely fellowship disbursement causes significant stress for research scholars. Eventually, when will the funding body recognize the importance of this issue.
